*It is the client’s responsibility to hire the artist/painter for the correct amount of time to be able to paint their guests. Cincinnati Face Painters will advise you on the amount of artist and hours to book for your event. If  you under-book for your event or there are a large amount of guests, you may be asked to have someone help close lines.

*Client agrees to pay the minimum number of hours they selected for event.


Child Supervision: Artist cannot at any time be left alone with Children. Our artist are unable to supervise children while they work and we require at least one supervising adult be present in the room.


Payment Terms: Booking Fee must be paid for event to be confirmed.  Another event may be scheduled for your time and date if booking fee is not received promptly.

Booking Fees are necessary because we most likely will be turning away other clients for the time slot you have requested. Booking fees are non refundable.

Booking Fee: A 25% booking fee or whatever amount decided by Cincinnati Face Painters if lesser than 25%, is due upon receipt of contract, with the remainder of balance due upon arrival of the face painters. The booking fee is to protect Cincinnati Face Painters against last minute cancellations, when other jobs have been turned down for the contracted day and time. ALL EVENTS ARE RAIN OR SHINE. Clients are responsible for alternative location in case of inclement weather.

A booking fee is charged, because we have to turn away any business that has inquired about for your date and time because we are reserving it for your event.


Overtime: Any time requested beyond the time booked will be prorated based on a cost of package rate chosen, to the nearest half hour. Overtime may not be available if Cincinnati Face Painters has another booking following your event.


Returned Checks: There will be $30.00 fee for returned checks.


Cancellations: Our contract is for rain or shine. Our artist have turned away other work for the day we have reserved for you. The cancellation fee will be $100 per artist if cancelled within 14 days. Cancellations within 48 hours of event will require payment in full for your event.


Set-up: We require adequate lighting, shelter from sun and or in-climate weather, access to a rest room and a place to dispose of our painting water. 


Parking: Client is responsible to provide reasonable parking arrangements for the artist. The Client will reimburse Artist for any parking fees. We will need to be made aware of parking expenses and parking arrangements in advance of event.


Limitations On Artwork: Artist will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose, or any place he/she does not feel comfortable painting. Artist will not paint any design or wording that is obscene, offensive, and violent or defies good taste. The theme and art desired should be established before the Artist arrives at event so that Artist can bring appropriate designs for menu board.


Weather: For the comfort of your guests and our artists, the Client agrees to provide an area with protection from extreme temperatures, sun, rain, snow and excessive wind. Client is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather. The client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the painter has arrived at the event location, even if it is raining. 


Extreme Adverse Working Conditions: Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse or  life-threatening working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult; illegal activities; or otherwise dangerous weather conditions such as extreme heat/cold or lightning.


Liability Statement: While we use only FDA approved cosmetic-grade make-up, Artist is not liable for allergic reactions. Children with skin allergies for sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. For safety reasons, Artist will require children under 2 years old to be held by parent or guardian. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. Artist will not supervise children.  When painting we like to give our undivided attention to who we are painting. If there is a behavioral problem with any guest we will come to the host/hostess of the party. Their behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Parents’ responsibility. Artist cannot see other children and what they are doing while they are painting.
